Job Description: Server at Pho Redbo
Pho Redbo, a vibrant and popular Vietnamese restaurant known for its delicious pho and authentic flavors, is currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Servers. As a Server at Pho Redbo, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a memorable dining experience for our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing exceptional customer service throughout their visit.
- Take customer orders promptly and accurately, ensuring any special dietary needs or requests are noted and communicated to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring high-quality presentation and adherence to Pho Redbo's standards.
- Provide recommendations from the menu and answer any questions customers may have regarding ingredients, preparation methods, or menu items.
- Monitor table turnover and anticipate customer needs, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized dining area, including resetting tables and ensuring cleanliness of utensils, glassware, and dining surfaces.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints professionally and escalate any issues to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow team members, including kitchen staff and other servers, to provide seamless service to customers.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment for both customers and staff.
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Strong multitasking abilities to handle a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tables simultaneously.
- Knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine or willingness to learn about Pho Redbo's menu offerings.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and evenings, as per restaurant requirements.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when required.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift trays or items weighing up to 25 pounds.
