ABOUT THE ROLE

Do you love spreading children's joy to people all over the world in the form of sunglasses?! Do you like connecting with humans? Do you love nothing more than to put a smile on a previously sourpuss face? Do you spend your sleepless nights thinking of all the different ways you can make people happy? Do you love finding ways to kill people with kindness? Does the phrase "problem solving" spark a borderline insane passion in your soul? If any of this resonates, then this is the job for you! At goodr we specialize in having fun and slinging sunnies. Maintaining the highest level of customer service for our customers is our top priority, so we're looking for people interested in a SEASONAL position in the Customer Service aviary.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for managing Customer Service inquiries for our consumers and retailers, processing warranty requests and reshipping orders lost in the USPS abyss.
  • Communicate through email, handle a large volume of emails
  • Work and problems are solved autonomously
  • Be engaged in constantly improving processes and standards in the department.
  • Actively participating in Operation: Carl's Booty
  • Actively listening during weekly meetings, reading slack, and generally gathering information independently.
  • Wrangle unicorns and tend to the octopus garden

ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Organized AF
  • Customer Service experience and strong communication skills
  • Experienced in handling a high volume of emails
  • A self-starter who can rely on their skill in prioritizing and organizing their workflow to respond to multiple requests
  • Strong attention to detail is required to solve problems thoroughly
  • Be creative, iterative, and constantly test your ability to provide the best customer service possible
  • Dependable with the willingness to take the initiative to work collaboratively and with a sense of urgency
  • Proficiency on a Mac
  • Mad bonus if you've got previous experience with Zendesk, NetSuite, Shipstation, and/or Shopify.
  • Must be able to work in Los Angeles
  • Must be able to work some weekends
  • Must have a good attitude and not afraid to ask questions
  • May or may not have a degree...we don't care (bonus points for Basset Hound Science or Dinosaur Law)
