About the Role

High visibility role with opportunities for advancement and expansion of responsibilities for those who execute consistently with a positive attitude.You will be responsible for cost budgeting, management, analysis and forecasting, which includes the important task of maintaining executive personnel budgets. This task requires facilitation of multiple executive-level parties on a real-time basis, therefore professional maturity is a requirement. A proactive mindset and can-do attitude are also a must-haves, and critical thinking will separate poor performance from good performance.
In addition, you will be responsible for financial management reporting and analytics related to cost reporting on a recurring and ad-hoc basis. Outstanding performers will be given the opportunity to take on more responsibility across various functions of the finance org and grow in the direction they wish to take their career.
Responsibilities
- Own cost reporting including oversight of personnel related budgets and monitoring of 3rd party vendor spend
- Prepare weekly and monthly cost reporting templates for use in board meetings, CEO and other executive stakeholder meetings
- Perform ROI analysis on spend requests
- Accumulate deep knowledge of company vendors and cost centers
- Develop and incorporate new analytic capabilities into reports
- Partner with finance, accounting, data engineering and business intelligence teams to create and continuously enhance key reports
- Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis when needed
Requirements
- Ambitious outlook and willingness to take ownership of responsibilities a must
- Degree in finance, economics, math or quantitative scientific field
- Strong knowledge of Excel and willingness to increase proficiency
- Works at a fast pace
- High-energy, positive attitude
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
