A Site Reliability Engineer will support SRE and DevOps pipelines for developers, QA, and Ops teams with AWS.
Requirements:
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other relevant work experience
- 1-2 years of work experience in DevOps/SRE role for Cloud-based solution
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Experience in supporting a production environment and/or a cloud-based product
- Automation of software builds using GitHub, and Jenkins
- Deployment and configuration of services
- Automating software builds and deployments using Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, AWS OpsWorks, CloudFormation, etc.
- Scripting languages such as Bash / Python / Golang
- Experience in network management, including subnetting, routing, ACLs, and VPN
- Knowledge in supporting security standards
- Experience in troubleshooting applications/systems issues and root cause analysis
- Intermediate English
- Readiness and desire to gain new knowledge and grow both in SRE and DevOps domains
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor infrastructure and applications, and analyze logs
- Ensure high availability and perform disaster recovery when needed
- Troubleshoot issues and provide root cause analysis, and build a knowledge database for known issues and fixes.
- Own incidents/issues, provide a response to incidents and alerts
- Participate in planning and executing Maintenance, Outage Management, and Problem Management
- Continuously improve SRE tools, processes, and procedures
- Automate builds, tests, and deployment with AWS ECS, Docker, Jenkins
