Air Borealis is currently seeking applicants for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Apprentice to join our team in Goose Bay, NL.
Duties:
- Assist in carrying out maintenance, repair and modification on aircraft
- Complete work sheets for work accomplished
- Report unserviceable maintenance equipment
- Ensure that assigned aircraft are maintained in accordance with Customer Standards
- Carry out the inspection, maintenance and repair of company aircraft and related aircraft systems
- Report to the Shift Supervisor on issues affecting the serviceability of aircraft
- Ensure aircraft are maintained in accordance with the company Maintenance Control Manual and Transport Canada Regulations
- Comply with all company safety practices and procedures
- Complete all required documentation and task cards for the work accomplished related to the aircraft maintenance performed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must have a Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed;
- Experience on Diamond DA20-C1, Piper Twin, Cessna single engine, or King Air is considered an asset;
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
- Troubleshooting skills;
- Must possess strong interpersonal, decision making, organization and communication skills;
- Knowledge of Transport Canada Regulations.
