Responsibilities
The Contract Analyst has broad responsibilities in Cerner's contracting process. These responsibilities range from quote creation, consultation and negotiation of terms and conditions, as well as the financial aspects of a contract. These may pertain to areas of software licensing, reseller agreements, subcontract agreements, general client purchases, etc. Associates in this role will consult with internal associates and/or external clients/suppliers to determine contract approach, terms and conditions and profitability to Cerner.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Must possess excellent decision making skills as well as the ability to deal with ambiguity
Demonstrat! es the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritizes work to meet adapting deadlines
Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work overtime and irregular hours when needed
Ability to use a computer for a prolonged period
Strong analytic and problem solving abilities
Advanced capabilities in working with CRM (Client Relationship Management) tools and Excel
Exceptional project management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Basic knowledge of accounting and financial principles
Prior contract experience preferred
3 to 5 years of Cerner experience
