Position works on an as needed basis. Position hours will be approximately 10 hours per week.

This position is in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. The position is located at the Medical School Campus.
Essential Functions
POSITION SUMMARY:
Position provides clerical support for department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Prepares for upcoming department events by assembling folders and coordinating staff to work at the events.
2. Gathers materials for physician office visits and for local marketing events, and keeps print material up to date.
3. Works at local marketing events.
4. Keeps mailing lists up to date in Excel.
5. Organizes data from events such as participant evaluations and raffle entrants.
6. Creates social media plans for the department and updates Facebook, Twitter and blogs regularly.
Required Qualifications
Equivalent of High School diploma with at least 6 months demonstrated previous clerical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of computers, and general office equipment. Good organizational and working communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and social media such as Facebook, Twitter and Blogs preferred.
Salary Range
The hiring range for this position is $10.00 to $12.25 per hour.
