A new position has become available within a well-established and progressive Financial Planning Practice for their location in the Shire. Renown for their professionalism and high level of customer service we are seeking to appoint an experienced Associate Planner who is seeking to take the next step into becoming a Financial Planner.
Working closely with the Head of Advice who will provide ongoing training and support to assist with your transition into becoming a confident and self-sufficient Financial Planner. The practice have a large client base consisting of clients from diverse backgrounds and age groups ranging from Wealth Creators to Retirees. The practice will provide access to a quality client base along with administrative and paraplanning services.
Your position will include the following:
- Provide high quality advice to clients in a compliant manner.
- Conduct client meeting and develop appropriate strategies in accordance with the clients' financial objectives.
- Provide comprehensive advice across all areas including Superannuation & Retirement planning, Insurances, Wealth Creation with access to multiple platforms.
- Ensure all final documented advice is accurate prior to presentation to the client and/or prospective client.
- Complete Client Reviews.
- Generate new business through existing clients and referral partners.
- Liaise with Paraplanning team for technical research and strategy development.
- Ensure your ongoing training requirements are maintained including CPD Points and attendance at PD days along with other training as required.
We are seeking a self motivated and driven individual who enjoys helping clients to achieve their financial goals. You will have strong relationship skills with the desire to be successful in your role. In addition you will have:
- Completed Provisional Year to be AR Accredited
- Close completion of the relevant Tertiary qualification with successful completion of the FASEA exam.
- Well developed technical skills across all areas of advice.
- Self-managed and able to meet agreed objectives
- Strong communication and relationship skills
- Team Player and able to work autonomously.
- Knowledge of Xplan desirable.
