Hourly Rate: £12.11 - £12.53
The advertised hourly rate includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role.
A market supplement of £0.72p per hour is also attached to this role and is included in the advertised hourly rate. This will be applied to both your basic salary and to any additional hours.
Location(s): Support at Home Service (Home Care) covering the South Lakes and Furness area.
Available Hours: Support at Home is a 365 day a year 7 day a week 24-hour service. This will include weekend and Bank Holiday rotas. Typically we 9 hour shifts between the hours of 10pm - 7am.

We have opportunities for caring and compassionate people to join our Care Serviced Westmorland and Furness team as:
Support Workers (Overnight Service) (Carer Care Worker Care Assistant) providing support and care within our Support at Home Services enabling individuals to remain within their own homes and providing palliative care to those nearing end of life.
About Support at Home (Overnight Service)
The Overnight Service is an integral part of the wider Support at Home team which supports and enables people to remain within their own home. Always supporting people in a way which maintains their dignity and empowers them to make choices about how they receive the support required.
About the role
As a Night Support Worker you will get the opportunity to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care. This could include support with medication providing personal care nutrition hydration manual handling pressure care and palliative care.
This role involves travelling across the South Lakes and Furness area supporting people within their own homes.
Your travel time will be included with your shift pattern and we pay a competitive mileage rate.
No experience or qualifications are needed to get started. We will help and support you with fully paid training and development - we are looking for the right people with the right qualities. This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check with a Adults Barred List check.
