The Role
An exciting opportunity exists for motivated and enthusiastic administrators to join the 725 Squadron team in providing business support expertise to the organisation.
The Business Intelligence Officer (BIO) is responsible for providing administrative, financial, logistical and information requirements across 725 Squadron. The member will require strong organisational and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and good communication skills. You will be able to manage priorities, meet deadlines and exercise discretion. 725 Squadron now operates within a collaborative and dynamic environment, which requires regular interactions with Navy, Army and Contractor personnel. The ability to communicate across the breadth of these organisations is essential, the ability to potentially lead a small administration team.
About our Team
725 Squadron is the home of the Romeo Helicopter and is responsible for the training of Aircraft Technicians and Aircrew on aircraft type. The Squadron is located at the home of the Fleet Air Arm (FAA) at HMAS Albatross, Nowra, on the NSW South Coast. Modern purpose built facilities and state of the art training systems prepare Navy aviators for transition to the modern, technologically advanced combat helicopters that are in service with the Australian Defence Force. 725 Squadron is made up of Navy and Army personnel, APS staff and contractors who work together seamlessly to deliver exceptional training and support.

They will be expected to plan and complete administrative support activities and tasks, selecting methods and resolving business issues that arise. They will be provided with assistance and guidance for more complex issues.
Our ideal candidate will be required to share information to ensure others are kept informed and make effective use of individual and team capabilities and to identify risks and issues that may impact on work objectives. They will have some stakeholder engagement and will be required to respond under limited direction to changes in stakeholder needs and expectations to achieve outcomes. They will be accountable to contribute towards ongoing self-improvement and professional development.
