Duties:
This position covers the off-tour which are nights and weekends in-house. This will be in-conjunction with other NP/PA on a rotational b! asis. Close liaison with staff surgeons and surgical residents will be required as necessary, to see patients in the ICU/PCU, floor and ER.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

- The candidate must meet one of the following:
- Certification: As of March 12, 1993, certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician's Assistants (NCCPA) is a requirement for employment. This requirement does not apply to non-certified PAs o! n VA rolls as of that date.
All individuals applying under this announcement must meet basic qualification standards for appointment as contained in VA Handbook 5005, Part 2, Appendix G8. This standard is available in the Human Resources Liaison Office for review. Candidates who meet the appropriate requirements contained in the standard will be considered.
