Group Overview
The primary function of the IP Development Organization is to develop high quality software solutions, which encompasses functional, technical, and test case design as well as software coding and test! ing.
Responsibilities
The Solution Designer ! defines and documents vision, functional requirements, and risk analysis using solution management tools and processes. Additionally the Solution Designer works with clients as a partner in development of applications and verifies that the solution meets functional requirements and approves the solution for release. Other activities include: documenting functionality requirements and business rules for solution updates; communicating existing and emerging production functionality; supporting Cerner sales processes including demo support, request for proposal (RFP) questions, and training sales associates.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or A.D.N. with equivalent experience
ED nursing experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work overtime when necessary
Ability to travel (0-20%)
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows
Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Kansas City or the surrounding community
Preferred Qualifications:
Cerner, healthcare and healthcare IT industry knowledge
Cerner FirstNet documenation experience
Working knowledge of EMR systems
