Part-Time Work-from-Home Administrative Assistant (Ed Tech Focus)


 

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Part-Time Administrative Assistant with proficiency in Google Workspace, Canva, WordPress, Facebook Ads, HubSpot, and a strong background in the field of education, specifically Ed Tech. This remote position requires a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and innovative environment. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our team and ensuring smooth operations. Preferred experience in grant writing is also desired.

Responsibilities:

1. Administrative Support:

- Provide efficient and organized administrative assistance to the team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.

- Assist in preparing documents, presentations, and reports using Google Workspace and Canva.

- Manage email correspondence and maintain effective communication channels among team members.

2. Technical Proficiency:

- Demonstrate proficiency in Google Workspace applications, including Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides.

- Utilize Canva to create visually appealing graphics and design materials for various marketing and communication purposes.

- Familiarity with WordPress to assist with website updates and content management.

3. Digital Marketing Support:

- Assist in implementing and managing Facebook Ads campaigns, including creating ad content, tracking performance, and generating reports.

- Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms to support lead generation and customer relationship management efforts.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute innovative strategies for digital marketing campaigns.

4. Grant Writing:

- Preferred experience in grant writing to support the development and submission of grant proposals.

- Assist in researching and identifying grant opportunities relevant to our organization.

- Collaborate with team members to gather necessary information and compile comprehensive grant applications.

5. Ed Tech Expertise:

- Utilize knowledge and experience in the field of education, particularly in Ed Tech, to provide insight and support to the team.

- Stay up-to-date with current trends, technologies, and best practices in Ed Tech to contribute to strategic planning and decision-making.

6. Team Collaboration:

- Act as a valuable team player, collaborating with colleagues across different departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.

- Proactively identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role, preferably in the field of education or Ed Tech.

- Proficient in Google Workspace applications (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides) and Canva.

- Familiarity with WordPress for website updates and content management.

- Experience in managing Facebook Ads campaigns is preferred.

- Knowledge of CRM platforms like HubSpot or similar tools is a plus.

- Preferred experience in grant writing to support the development and submission of grant proposals.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This is a part-time, work-from-home position, requiring approximately 10 hours per week. The schedule can be flexible, but some availability during regular business hours may be necessary for team collaboration and meetings.This part-time job guarantees 10 hours per week for the remainder of 2023, with the potential for growth into additional hours or even a full-time position for the ideal candidate.
