Cerner solutions are licensed by approximately 9,300 facilities around the world, including hospitals, physician practices, home health facilities, employer sites, retail pharmacies and ambulatory facilities such as labs, cardiac care, radiology and surgery centers.

Group Overview

The CommunityWorks Agile Business Unit is focused on the Critical Access and Community Hospital market. Our offering is a Software as a Service (SaaS) model where Cerner provides all hosting, implementation, application management an! d upgrades in a Cerner governed multi-tenant domain.

! Responsibilities

The Client Results Executive (CRE) develops and manages a holistic approach to a key client relationship including the business relationship, operations and delivery, economic performance and integration with Cerner across all venues and levels. The CRE is ultimately responsible for understanding the business at large so that the relationship, solutions and associated revenue stream translate into profit and value for both the client and Cerner. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing the overall client relationship and profitability of the client with Cerner; developing a strategy of scale (big picture) to grow the breadth and depth of relationships; providing the connection and thought leadership between the client's business strategies and Cerner's core values proposition; being accountable for "Top Line" growth and overall expense reduction; providing executive oversight into engagements so that delivery dates are me! t and insures value is being delivered to the client as committed; acting as an advocate on behalf of the client as necessary; and continuously growing the referenceability of the client(s) and positively impacting how the client communicates the value of its relationship with Cerner in all venues.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a healthcare related field

Executive / Business Acumen

Demonstrated ability to develop business opportunities

Prior consulting, project management, and/or installed client relationship experience

Cerner, healthcare, and healthcare IT industry knowledge

Understanding of sales and marketing processes and approach

Executive-level, strategic consulting experience (ability to own senior-exec-level, major client relationships)

Key business development experience / multi-million-dollar successes with major healthc! are clients

Ability to travel 30-40%

Ability to manag! e multiple projects simultaneously

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows

Outstanding written and oral communication skills

Strong business and relationship building skills

Strong organizational and analytical skills

Strong collaboration, team building, and personnel development skills

Must reside in Kansas City or Surrounding area

Ability to work overtime or irregular hours as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Successful sales track record of HCIT

Demonstrated results in managing a team preferred

Advanced degree preferred (MBA and MHA)
