The Account Manager is responsible for the growth and retention within existing Hospital and Surgery Center Accounts. The Account Manager is also responsible for the profitably of growing existing Hospital/Surgery Center Accounts through additional products, services, locations, and increased penetration (intensity) of customers' locations. The Account Manager serves as a true business partner with Market Center (MC) Operations, Sales Management, and the Healthcare Business Development Executive (BDE).
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creates, builds and maintains positive business relationships with existing and assigned ARAMARK Uniform Services (AUS) customers.
- Positions (AUS) as the market leader and total solutions provider for infection control, industrial uniforms, scrubs, dust control, and dietary department needs within our existing hospitals.
- Ensures world class customer service.
- Tracks all contract expiration dates (CXDs), manages the renewal process, develops and implements renewal plans, and provides timely progress reports for assigned accounts.
- Provides inventory reports, wearer reports, damage/loss reports, and all other special requests from the Primary Customer Contacts as requested.
- Provides ongoing training to Hospital EVS staff by providing micro-fiber in-service demonstrations, as well as Quarterly ATP monitoring of high touch surface areas.
- Develops and implements strategies to increase sales and profits from existing hospitals within each department (EVS, Dietary, Nursing, Facility Management, and Clinical).
- Identifies and implements actions to grow margin while identifying process/cost improvement plans (which may include price increases) for customers.
- Will develop and coordinate sales presentations, business reviews, etc.
- Builds strong relationships with the Market Center Operations Teams and Corporate Support Staff.
- Should fully comply with AUS contract renewal policies and procedures.
- Supports an environment of continuous mutually beneficial improvements by making suggestions and implementing beneficial changes where possible.
- Will coordinate communication with the Market Centers operations and Field Sales to present new account implementation plans and/or identify and resolve service needs for customers as necessary.
- Utilizes SalesForce.com to manage assigned accounts and maximize account build out and visibility.
- Performs all other duties as assigned or requested.
- Position requires up to 50% travel.
The Account Manager reports to the Business Development Executive.

A Bachelor's Degree in Business.
EXPERIENCE:
- Two to three years Business-to-Business (B2B) experience is preferred and required.
- Preferred candidate would have experience in an AUS direct customer facing role (Sales and/or Operations).
- In-depth knowledge of AUS sales and services processes strongly preferred.
